.: Software Modeling Research Group

The Software Modeling Research Group investigates all matters related to the use of models in software and software engineering. "Model" should be broadly interpreted, to include requirements, architecture and design models, but also non-development models found in modern software, such as ontology models. All the group's projects have models at their core, but they also have a strong focus on making a visible impact on society and on the lives of those who live in it.

Group Personnel

The group also works closely with the following Lancaster people in addition to its wide network of national and international contacts:

  • Nelly Bencomo, Research Associate, Models@runtime
  • Pete Sawyer, Reader, Requirements Engineering
  • Jaejoon Lee, Lecturer, Software Product Lines
