Gareth Tyson

About Me

I am a PhD student in the Computer Science department at Lancaster University’s InfoLab21. My research is supervised by Dr. Andreas Mauthe and Prof. Thomas Plagemann. Before starting my PhD in 2006 I graduated from Lancaster University with a BSc in Computer Science and a MSc in Advanced Computer Science. I am currently working on the European Network of Excellence CONTENT. This project is investigating the next generation of content distribution in the Internet.

My work is currently in the area of peer-to-peer content networking with a focus on autonomic management and (re)configurable middleware support. A more detailed overview can be found in my research page
