I am currently working as a Senior Research Associate in the School of Computing and Communication at Lancaster University. I have worked on various projects with my current project being on Environmental Virtual Observatory (EVOp), a NERC-funded project to develop a cloud-based virtual observatory for environmental sciences. I have also served as a post-doc researcher in the PD-NET project in the building of open scalable public displays.

Previously, I have worked on DiVA (Dynamic Variability in complex, Adaptive systems) an European Framework project and the AOSD-Europe project in developing AO-middleware.

My PhD research was under the supervision of Prof. Geoff Coulson. My PhD research focussed in the areas of dynamic reconfiguration consistency in distributed middleware and technologies supporting dynamic reconfiguration. I have implemented an AO-middleware, AO-OpenCom capable of providing dynamic reconfiguration with consistency support on distributed nodes using AO techniques.
