We are involved in 2 full papers, 3 workshop papers, will show 2 demos, co-organize MIRW 2009, organize the tutorial day and will hold a tutorial.

23.03.2009: Andy Greaves in BBC Newsround
Andy Greaves (one of my PhD students) was interviewed about our projector phone research by BBC Newsround. Circa 500.000 people watched him on BBC1 showing the projector phone!
This was then later on featured in the Lakeland Echo, Westmorland Gazette, Morecambe Visitor and Garstang Courier.

26.02.2009: Projector phones in New Scientist
Andy Greaves and Enrico Rukzio were interviewed for an article on projector phones in the New Scientist. This article will be on pages 18-19 in the New Scientist magazine (Issue number 2697, 28 February 2009).

05.08.2008: Very strong contribution to MobileHCI 2008
We presented 2 full papers, 2 short papers and 3 demos at Mobile HCI 2008, co-organized MIRW 2008 and had also a paper at this workshop! See publications.

30.05.2008: Multitag research featured on the BBC
Our research in the Multitag project is mentioned 16 minutes into the programme in the BBC's Click programme.

30.04.2008: The Most Innovative NFC Research Project of the Year
Our demo "Touch & Interact: Applied to a Tourist Guide Prototype" got the first place in the NFC Forum Global Competition, more information at the Multitag webpage

01.01.2008: MULTITAG project started
The MULTITAG project, a cooperation between Lancaster University and DoCoMo Euro-Labs started in 01/2008.

12.09.2007: Best Demo Award at Mobile HCI 2007
Our demo "Mobile Interaction with Web Services through Associated Real World Objects" got the best demo award at Mobile HCI 2007!

13.03.2007: Best Demo Award at Percom 2007
Our demo "Supporting Mobile Service Usage through Physical Mobile Interaction" got the best demo award at Percom 2007!

31.01.2007: Dr. Enrico Rukzio
On January 31st 2007 I successfully defended my PhD dissertation (Rigorosum) entitled "Physical Mobile Interactions: Mobile Devices as Pervasive Mediators for Interactions with the Real World"! Pictures of the event.
