War Stories:Background |

|
BackgroundDuring the deployment of systems (development and implementation) it is usual for problems to occur. These 'hazards' can cause delays, cost money and lead to compromise/undependable systems. Sharing information and 'war stories' on these problems and how they were solved/might be avoided is a useful way for designers/stakeholders to share knowledge, hopefully to help others to avoid similar hazards. This web site has been constructed as a means of sharing war stories on hazards regarding systems deployed in healthcare contexts. They are derived from studies of actual projects conducted by researchers at Lancaster and Edinburgh. However, we would like other researchers and professionals to contribute to this site with their own experiences.
