I'm heavily involved in various church activities, including youth and children's work. Various links:
I also play badminton (for Garstang Badminton Club) and play regularly in the Lancaster and Morecambe district badminton league.
More in the past than present, but thanks to the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, BTCV, I have spent many enjoyable ‘holidays’ carrying out tasks such as building and repairing dry stone walls, repairing footpaths, thinning woods, constructing fences and planting marram grass to stabilise sand dunes.
I also enjoy walking, camping and canoeing (kayaking) when time and energy permits!
