05/03/2007 @ 12PM: ICIMP’07

It’s been a mad couple of weeks. I’ve been working pretty much 24/7 on my PhD, flood-prediction work and a P2P tracing paper for ICIMP’07. I worked straight through last night to finish the latter and now I’m pooped. I should head home!

23/02/2007 @ 09AM: Photos

First off, you might have noticed that my old photo album is down, that’s because I’m moving to Flickr, I’ll link up the new site when I’ve finished uploading the photos - probably by next weekend. I’ve taken this week off from flood prediction work to focus on my thesis and I’ve got one of the three major remaining chunks done. I may just make my target of submitting by the end of March. Speaking of which, I should get back to it.

17/02/2007 @ 11AM: Delayed Flight

I write this from Milan Bergamo airport, where my flight has been delayed for three hours! Fortunately, I had time to write up my experiences of the MINEMA workshop, which you can read about here. Photos will follow soon.

04/02/2007 @ 1PM: Hot Fuzz

I’m soldiering on with flood prediction work. At the moment I’m working 12 hour days and spending all my time on essential work, yet still not enough gets done, but such is life. I saw a Gala showing of Hot Fuzz last night, which was pretty cool, even cooler the cinema lost my booking so my film, popcorn, coke, signed poster and Shaun of the Dead DVD were completely free. I think I may be in for some bad karma today.
