I’m a researcher
with Lancaster University’s Computing department. My research interests
are in the areas of distributed systems, peer-to-peer computing, wireless
sensor networks, Internet monitoring, Grid computing and middleware. I
also like to travel, watch live music and take photos of things. You can
find out more by following the links above.

26/11/08 @ 1PM: I’m off to Manchester tomorrow to present at the Sensors for Water Interest Group meeting and on
Sunday I head to Leuven in Belgium for Middleware 2008… I’m looking
forward to the Christmas break! One of my friends has an interesting
piece in First Monday on online anti-Semitism
if you want to check it out.
18/11/08 @ 1PM: I stayed over in Manchester on Sunday night after watching Less Than Jake at the Academy. It was a great
show and it was nice to be able to chill out afterwards instead of
rushing back home to Lancaster. We stayed in a private room at the YHA on Potato Wharf, which was pretty
cool if you need a cheap place to stay. I’m working pretty hard at the
moment on job applications and flood monitoring work… hopefully I’ll
start getting some responses to my applications soon :-) !
