Abstract
The volume of infomation
we store these days often requires some
form of information management in order
to make sense of it all. There are 2 kinds
of information management; (1) Personal
Information Management (PIM) - manages personal
and business information (e.g. contracts,
events, appointments, notes), and (2) Personal
Web Management (PWM) - manages web documents.
There are currently several areas of debate
as to the direction of PWM developmemt should
take. This week in Humans we wish to present
some of the old and the new issues relating
to PWM and generate discussion on how they
might be tackled.
