Background in software development, process improvement programs and Business processes. Experienced in business administration, managing a project portfolio from conception to completion in different areas, including information technology, business and environment, and in teaching about software engineering. I have a proven track record of expertise in production quality software project management, with experience of the full software development lifecycle and a In-depth knowledge of software project management best practice and the ability to implement it.

In 1996, I set up my own management and computer consulting business, and I worked as part-time member in it. I am also a lecturer in software engineering at Universidad del Bio-Bio - Chile, since 1991. I was an assistance lecturer in the industrial engineering master program in the Universidad de Chile (1994-1998) In addition, I have participated as technology consultant in different projects for some large companies, so I have experience in managing projects from conception to completion. Besides, I participated as a directory member of a world organization called SPIN – CHILE (Software Process Improvement Network – Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile, originated by Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University) whose objective is to transfer knowledge about software process improvement to Chilean software industry. I have been invited as a tutorial speaker to attend several seminars about software quality, software metrics and software process improvement.
