backmeup is an easy-to-use curses backup script written in Python. It uses the simple concept of 'backup destinations' (where files are backed up to) and 'backup sources' (where files for backing up reside), which may be accessed locally or remotely using URLs of the supported file-transfer protocols (eg. ssh, samba, ftp).
