Recordings and Videos

I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, and playing around with my 4-track recorder at home. On these pages, I'm putting up a few home-made recordings of songs and stuff in an attempt to become a bit more creative, and maybe get some motivation to play a bit more.

  • This is a song called 'Roses of Nowhere'; it was floating around my head for a long time, so I decided to record it on my 4-track. [mp3]
  • This is a bit of a guitar instumental that I recorded soon after I bought my 4-track recorder. I just layered up a few guitar tracks over the metronome. [mp3]
  • This is a cover version of 'Blue American' by Placebo which I recorded when rehearsing for a gig on 11th March 2004. [mp3]
  • This is a short, unflattering video of me struming a song by Idlewild called 'Actually It's Darkness'. [video]
