The bus showed up at 4:20, and the stimulated/exhausted/hyper/intoxicated partiers boarded, to start a long early morning trek. We managed to avoid traffic for the most part, but overall, the less said about the journey, the better.

After arriving in Rethal, France, we wandered around for a few hours, on various quests. We then gathered at 11:00 to board the bus and find a good observation site. This is almost the entire crew (sans host and hostess).
Most of the Starlab crew stakes out their territory, immediately gazing at the sun with our properly working Eclipse Glasses.
Meanwhile, another portion of the Starlab crowd has found a fun hayfield to play in.
