Vision Smart-It, Version 0.05 The first version of the vision smart-its is running. The vision smart-its is build around the PIC16F876. Main further components are: an analog CMOS camera (colour or BW, the socket on the board can take C-Cam1, C-Cam2, and C-Cam8, available at http://www.conrad.com and http://www.quasarelectronics.com) an analog video transmitter operating at 2.4GHz (from http://www.kern-electronic.de, 2,4GHZ SUPER MINI TX VIDEO, they also offer a receive for it) a 180° PIR module detecting movement of humans and animals around (available from http://www.quasarelectronics.com, http://www.maplin.co.uk, http://www.conrad.com/ order code: 192236-92) 4 ball switches a light sensor TSL250 and a power regular The video transmitter and the camera can be switched of independently of each other controlled by the PIC. There are 2 analog input and 7 digital I/O pins available. These pins can be used to connected to other smart-its boards (in particular for communication, e.g. via I2C) and also to attach further sensors. The board also has a 20mm x 40mm breadboard area. The test software that is currently running on it is a program that checks if there are changes in the sensors. And if a sensor has changed it sends one second of video.		Basic description
