Designing Activities Around Web Page

Another IHE project, The Internet as a Collaborative Learning Resource: An International Experiment, is using the Web and a conferencing system to support collaborative student work.

Web pages can be integrated into courses in the same way as any other resource. Here is an example from Sixth-form work in French.

A simple way to use Web resources is to treat them as Library resources and ask students to evaluate them in an annotated review style. Here are several approaches to critically evaluating Internet resources.

For hundreds of examples of Web courses look at the World Lecture Hall at the University of Texas.
