Visiting Lancaster
The Computing Department at Lancaster is one of the most exciting Departments in the country - housed in an award winning building and part of the Lancaster University campus - situated in 250 acres of beautiful landscaped parkland, three miles from Lancaster city centre in the north-west of England.
We encourage all prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students to visit the Department to see the facilities for themselves and to meet staff and current students.
Prospective Undergraduates
The Department holds regular Open Days for prospective students and their families. These provide the opportunity to tour the campus and Department, to attend talks and demonstrations and chat on-on-one with members of the Computing Department. All prospective students are welcome and these open days are particularly suitable for students who have received a UCAS offer from us. The University also offers visit days that provide a chance to see the full range of degree courses offered at Lancaster and are designed for students who have not yet made their initial selection of University. For more details on Visit Days please see the University's visit day pages.
Open Day dates for 2008/9 are as follows:
Wednesday 28 January
Wednesday 18 February
Saturday 21 February
Wednesday 11 March
If you wish to attend an open day please use the application form below to register your interest. The information you supply will only be used by the university and not passed on to any third parties.
