One Week Short Courses
With a stimulating mixture of informal and formal lectures, discussion forums and practical group exercises, both classroom and lab based, the week long courses are challenging but inspiring.
The content is updated each year from the leading research in the specialized fields and delivered by the professors and senior lecturers working in these areas. You will have the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of technology research in one of the worlds leading computer science departments and learn of the next generation technology as it is being developed, critique existing technologies and develop the ability to "see the wood from the trees" - an invaluable skill when faced with new technology throughout your forthcoming careers.
All courses are offered as modules for the Masters programme in Advance Computer Science made available for individuals. You will be in the company of fellow professionals, full time and part time postgraduates students.

Course Structure
All courses last a period of one week. They take place from 9.00 - 17.00, Monday - Friday in Masters Training Suite, Engineering Building. There are no assessments for any of the courses. The intense nature of the courses means you are immersed in the subject to get the most out of it.

How to register
As the courses are technical, people wishing to take them should ideally have a technical background such as a Computer Science degree or relevant knowledge gained through industry experience.
