Entry requirements and how to apply

Entry Requirements

We are keen to receive applications from students who have completed at least a second class honours degree in a non computer science subject as well as computer science graduates. The main requirements for success on this course are a technical, enquiring mind and the motivation and dedication to succeed in a fast paced advanced masters degree. The course is demanding by taking you from ground level, covering the basics of computer networks, and rapidly transport you into a high level networking specialist.

How to Apply

Note that applications for October 2006 close on 31st July. Applications received after this date will be considered for admission the following October.

Note that due to UK holidays associated with the Christmas vacation there will be a delay in processing applications. Please be patient, we will process all applications received as quickly as possible.

The University now handles postgraduate applications online at https://www.pgapps.lancs.ac.uk. The system will guide you through the registration process.

Please note that applications will not be processed until references and transcripts have been received. For applicants who have not yet been awarded their degree, a note of final year modules and project title (if known) will be helpful.
