Modules
The courses are run in "block mode". Each module block consists of one week intensive classroom contact, followed by coursework that may be completed in your own time. This format is especially suitable whether you are a full-time student spending a year on campus or a part-time student undertaking this course while working in industry.

Module selection
For a full MSc you are required to complete six taught modules from the twelve available plus a project dissertation and a self study research methods module. Your module choices will depend on the route you wish to take through the programme but this needn't be decided before registration. Other modes of study have different requirements.
Assessment
Most of the modules are assessed by individual or group coursework with exams featuring as 50% of the assessment in some modules. For further information please refer to each module's information.
