Models, Aspects and Product Lines: what kind of composition do we need?

Jon Whittle, George Mason University

This talk presents initial work on incorporating aspects into the PLUS method (Product-Line UML-Based Software Engineering), a method for modeling product families using UML. The talk will briefly describe PLUS, discuss how and why model-level aspects can be used within PLUS, and will report on a first case study. The talk will focus, in particular, on what kinds of aspect composition arise in this case study.
