The PDA Program
We used .NET to create our program and it turned out to be a nice easy way of
communicating with our truck, although I suppose even the use of a PDA at
all, rather than some sort of embedded PC would depend on what type of
application you're aiming for, and we have been considering a few more
high powered options recently. Still, on the completed and working applications
front, the PDA is definitely the winner.
We have a couple of reasonable C# .NET test programs which you can download
here.

Any of these also require the use of a dll to interface with the serial
port on the PDA, they should be saved in Windows on your PDA. We have two
different versions...
