These files and should be viewed using WebSpace or a similar browser.

Skylab - model of the research lab at the computing department, Lancaster University (~80k). 1995 work. This model was linked to the vrfinger system. It shows bodies representing the people were actually using the machines in Skylab. Different colours indicated when they were last active. You can click on these bodies to find out who they are. This was updated every minute.

Technology centre offices - this building was used for the ethnographic study. Data from this study was used to inform the development of applications built onto this model. These applications enabled VR visitors to find real-life people and allow access to technical document stores via visualisation systems such as QPIT.

This Skylab model is designed using a new modeller AC3D. It's a lot more detailed hence a much larger size (> 360k). There are no lights or people in this model.
