How to Write to a CD

From John Cushnie

The process is too trival to document, but here goes.

Basically,
1. Find person who may access the PC with the RW drive.
2. Copy over ISO files that require burning to CDRom.
3. Double click on file to launch Adaptec Easycd Creator.
4. Load blank disk into CD-RW drive and follow the on-screen instructions.

The hard bit to the above is step 1, finding the PC and the person to access it :-)

Information to date (8-3-01) on the location of PCs with CD writing -

From Adrian Friday
We have machines in the lab with writers built in now (near the glass table).
A generic USB writer which seems to work with most things.
There's one in the 2nd year resources lab too (B76).

From Ian Sommerville
I have a CD writer on my Mac (designed for Mac) which can be borrowed
by any other Mac users. There is another Mac one somewhere as well
