The COMIC Project is one of the European Commission's 101 Success Stories from
ESPRIT.
The
problems selected to constitute the detailed research agenda for the COMIC project were drawn
from examples of real world cooperation and the problems this cooperation faces. The overall
project structure exploited four major themes. These themes were selected to represent distinct but
related theoretical issues central to CSCW systems development.
