OpenCOM v2
Project Dates
Ongoing
Project Description
OpenCOM v2 is our ongoing effort to provide a truly platform independent reflective component model. Hence, v2 removes its reliance from Microsoft COM, and instead is built upon core kernels suited to each device e.g. PDA, router, desktop etc. Furthermore, the component model itself is dynamically reconfigurable, the component loader can be replaced; the component binder can be replaced e.g. in proccess vtable to across process shared memory. Finally, the four OpenORB meta-models can be loaded and used when required.
