REAIMS products

Introduction

The central focus of the REAIMS approach has been to consider the engineering of requirements as a diverse interrelated set of activities within the Systems Development Lifecycle. This emphasis is illustrated in the diagram below.

Such a focus has been the basis for the development of a set products, the REAIMS package, that are able to address the varied real problems experienced by companies during Requirements Engineering (RE).

The REAIMS approach results in products that support the inter working and tracing of key aspects, such as organisational concerns, product features, past experience, process requirements, improvement goals and technical specifications.

How to apply

The REAIMS package can be exploited in one of two ways: Further product information sheets are available on the REAIMS Good Practice Guides (RE-GPG, PI-GPG), the REAIMS Improvement Model, and the REAIMS technical modules.
