Employee Qualification: The employees of the Institute for Information Technology
are graduated engineers, computer scientists,
mathematicians or physicians. They have large experience
in the planning, introduction and performance of software
quality assurance programmes and the construction of
Quality Management Sytems for Information Technology as
well.
Since 1984 the RWTÜV Institute for Information Technology is active in consulting in the field of quality assurance for many software projects. In these projects we emphasize on assessment, process improvement, QA planning, performance of reviews and tests, configuration management and document control. We keep our state-of-the-art knowledge by participating in national and international research projects.
Since 1988 the Institute for Information Technology is a consultant of software houses and service enterprises for construction and introduction of quality management systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 9000-3 or ISO 9004 part 2, respectively. Additionally, since 1993 we are also consulting data centers in this field.
During this time many companies took benefit from our know-how. They built and introduced QM systems and got certified with our support.
All Consultants of the Institute for Information Technology are auditors educated by TÜV Cert and/or the Certification Body of the CETECOM GmbH, Essen. They regularly participate in meetings for exchanging their experiences.
