The Joint Infrastructure Fund is a research initiative supported by
the UK Research Councils, the Wellcome Trust and HEFCE whose aim is the
upgrading of the UK's research infrastructure. In the latest round,
Lancaster has submitted bids for two new buildings, an Informatics Institute
and an Environmental Research Centre.
